This app is continually not updating when the workout is completed! If we are spending $20 for a monthly subscription I would expect this to not be a continuous problem. I am in week 6 and it has been an issue the past 3 weeks! It is very unnerving.

What happened?

I last signed into sweat with kayla app on Saturday. It was the end of week 4 and I ad several progress photos in the app. When I logged in today it showed as week 1, and all my progress photos were gone!

Doesnt work at all. Keep shutting down when you are going between circuits. Only cardio works through workout but doesnt keep track of calories. Phone app works great.

UPDATE 9/29/16 The app is still working great for me, no crashes. There are still things I wish were included in the app, but my main one is this: - beeps during cool down/rehab. I absolutely HATE having to watch my screen to see to see when the 20 or 30 seconds. - I did really want the ability to change the planner. Not everyone starts on a Monday and it makes it difficult to keep the weeks straight. I forced myself to catch up so I am on the Monday schedule, but having to do that was really annoying. ORIGINAL Luckily I havent experienced as many crashes as some of the others here. Occasionally it Ill crash during my LISS, which is annoying but not terrible. A few things that would be nice: - ability to change the planner. I didnt start on a Monday and I would like to be able to have my planner reflect that - beeps/chimes during cool down and rehab so I dont have to stare at my phone watching the clock - the ability to track your progress in each circuit. I still keep my hard copy near by so I can mark how far I made it down to the rep. For example, week 1, day 1 - if I finish a circuit before the 7 min is up and then make it through 20 of the 40 mountain climbers Id like to be able to chart that so I can see how I improve the next time I do the circuit. - I agree that the $20 a month is pricey. It would be nice to have a discount for multiple months. - HIIT suggestions. Im a new mom and want to do the least amount of thinking as possible when it comes to working out. All in all, the app keeps me on track so I dont have to think about what workouts I have or havent done. What really keeps me going is the BBG Community. These girls are incredibly encouraging of their fellow BBGers. I have yet to encounter anyone otherwise. Kayla has really garnered an amazing group of women.

Its not free!

I hate when they advertise the app as free and when you download it they ask to pay. I cant even see what you really offer.

I love Kayla and her BBG program. The app makes it easy to follow the workouts and has a timer to show your time left in each circuit. Only problem I have faced is that my progress pictures always eventually delete themselves. Great design of the app though and totally worth $20 a month!

Love it!

Ive never had the problems other people are describing with crashes and data loss... The app works perfectly for me and has helped me improve my fitness level a lot! Its a little pricey, but way less than a gym membership and a lot more convenient. I agree with the other review that the cool down and rehab sessions should have audio cues for when to move to the next stretch.

Sweat with Kayla

I am new to BBG but I am really enjoying the whole program. The app is fine, but like some of the other reviewers mentioned, there are glitches. My workout calendar was one week delayed, and there was no way to change it. This wasnt the end of the world, but if Im paying for a feature, I would like for it to work.

Beware! It says free, but when you download it and sign up you are given the choice of $19.99 a month or $54 for 3 months. This is a total scam!!!!

Sounds like it would be a great program but for $20 a month I would rather go to a gym with equipment. Meal plans need to be expanded. Just varying degrees of vegetarian. Also measurements are not us standard. Beyond that...To be fair I cant tell if its good or not because I couldnt get past the lie of free. And that was enough for me I deleted the app without going any further.

AMAZING...except

The app is absolutely amazing! The workouts are intense, always changing and increasing in intensity. Its like having your own personal trainer! I will continue to use this and I dont see an end in sight!! However, there are two things I wish they would fix: 1. The HIIT buzzer isnt loud enough and doesnt buzz when my music is playing. I have to use a separate tabata app on HIIT days. 2. This one is my biggest issue!!! The app wont let you refer back to older workouts. If this is going to be the case, there should be an option to pause the plan. I had 2 weeks in the 16 weeks Ive been doing this that life was too hectic to get in all of my workouts and I just lost those weeks.

BEST AND MOST EFFECTIVE WORKOUT

I cant say enough about how great this app is. Not only does it better you physically, mentally I became more confident and at ease with my body! ❤️❤️❤️

Sweat it out

I have been using the sweat app since April and have yet to give up on it. Kayla has created work outs that are fun but challenging and intense. Its so easy to squeeze the resistance workouts in since theyre only 28min. The app works extremely well; provides 3 resistance workouts, 3-4 days of cardio, rehabilitation through guided foam roller workouts and the occasional challenges. The app allows you to track your water intake, keeps track and times your workouts, provides you with weekly meal plans to follow that ensure you are getting the best results, has education on the program, breaks down each work out and offers photos to follow to ensure proper form. Overall I love bbg and the community. Everyone is extremely positive and willing to offer support. Only downfall is the $55 payment every 3 months for the app.

Sweat app

I agree that this app has lots of glitches. I enjoy the variety of workouts, however as a beginner, the workouts progress from doable to extremely difficult very quickly. It might be nice to have a set of work outs geared towards beginners that progress a little slower & then a set for the more advanced group. The workout also require that you have a lot of equipment that I dont own. You almost need a gym membership on top of the month subscription.

Its not free. 7 day free trial for $20 is the start of it all. I dont even think most gyms require that, A MONTH!!

It works!

I only use this for the circuit training, since I follow a paleo diet, but its an incredible workout tool. Ive never been able to stick to any resistance workout before. I thought I didnt like it. Now I cant wait to get to my next workout. I even love the soreness that comes after. I love that the app progresses with you, taking you from complete lazy butt to super fit. Update: Ive been using the app for 4 months now and Im so in love with it. I have a new body!!!!!!!! I cannot believe how strong I am or that I have ABS(!). I have never loved a workout as much as I love this one. Check out the hashtag #bbg on Instagram to see peoples transformations from using this program. Its incredibly motivating.
